I'm writing about Stags Fell in Wensleydale. We recently enquired again about the numbers of pilots who could fly there and the owner re stated his wish for there to be a maximum of twelve pilots in the air at any one time and for those pilots to be Dales members. The rule on no XC flights from August also stands.

We did have a couple of problems this last year with the site having some non members flying which then forced members who did turn up to remain on the ground in order not to break the maximum of twelve fliers limit.

I'd be grateful if you could circulate around your club the restriction which the Dales has for Stags Fell being members only to your members in time for the new 2010 season. Also you could publish that we do have alternative sites which do not have restrictions e.g. Brant Side, Hawkswick and Tailbridge.
