did anyone notice

Post by Steve.T. »

It must be two years now since I asked for a volunteer to take over the club contact position and six months since I stopped paying my subs and left the club yet I am still listed as contact with the BHPA and in Skywings and still phoning people who leave messages on my phone.I still quite enjoy speaking to the new and encouraging the curiuos but it is a bit much to expect of a non member, So at the next meeting will someone raise the topic for debate " do we replace him or start to pay him"
Hopefully someone will eventually step forward.

i am curious as to how long you remain in sufferance before you ring the bhpa to remove your number? I would also check the internet, i wager your numbers all over the place. New number on the cards me thinks.

Gary Stenhouse is the new club contact and has been for some time, as for why it hasnt been changed with the BHPA yet I dont know but it was changed on the website some time ago, will bring it up at the meeting if it hasnt allready been sorted by then.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

EDIT

On doing a Google search for your number Steve, I think you have your work cut out.!

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rl ... =&aq=f&oq=

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rl ... =&aq=f&oq=

Unless you can get these webmasters to remove your number YOU are the club contact, like it or not.!

Did the club not have a answerphone service or something? as the next club contact will have the same bother.

Gary.

I am the man! However I signed off on the December issue on Friday and it’s away to the printers, so I can’t change anything now till the Jan issue. But I’ll forward it to the website guy and get it changed online immediately.

Many thanks.

Regards,

Joe Schofield
