Lucky Escape

Post by colin keightley »

Just seen on the news that Mark Weir had a lucky escape on his tractor.

Most of you know him as the chopper pilot at the LCC and owns Honnister slate.

He was swept from a bridge in his tractor and swept miles downstream in it overturned. he managed to get free from his cab and to shore and walked 3 miles home singing 'im singing in the rain' happy to be alive.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

Ye it sounded like it was a close one, but the miles down stream is a bit of an exageration.

Here's a link to a video of Mark flying around the floods on Friday, at 6:25 you will see where his tractor ended up!
