after recent events the above may be the answer as apose to the lock box. i am awaiting confirmation from my insurers but by the looks of things these boxes are not worth risking for. also i mentioned the honesty policy but if you vehicle is found and the locks are not broken then you still risk being acused of insurance fraud.

so i guess the word is be carefull if you are driving a expensive car and lets be more prepared if we are going to go cross country and need to leave keys.

what she did say is we have a duty of care and given you have bought locks etc to lesson the risk then you would stand a better chance but no guarentees.

the she did say that the insurance ombudsman may go down on the side of the client so you may well be ok
