Please note that Ospreys are nesting on the western side of Dodd Wood and this area should be avioded at all times when flying. There have been a number of pilots flying low over the nest attemping to fly XC recently, landing shortly afterwards at the foot of the hill. This could easily upset the birds and cause them to leave the nest which could have grave outcome for any eggs, chicks e.t.c. even for a short time.

Due to this the area of the western side of Dodd Wood is now a no go/ no fly zone for us and I request that you all stay well away from here until mid summer when the chicks have flown the nest. Obviously the Ospreys are big business in this area and it is imperative we are seen not to disturb or upset them in any way (considering there are usually hundreds of people as well as web cams watching them all the time). Thank you
