Relive that great flight........

Post by dave-mclaughlin »

......or even see how it was done.

Came across mention of 'IGC Flight Replay' on paraglidingforum.com.
It allows you replay your flight (or anyone else's) and give's you a pilots eye view of the flight in Google Earth.

It's in the early stages of development, but it looks very promising as an educational tool. Simply use the program to view an .IGC file.

Get it from http://ywtw.de/igcsimen.html

Even better, it's FREE

Dave that is simply brilliant. I've just loaded that flight over the back of Cross Fell and it's dead accurate.

Tip if you want to try it!

Simply bring up your flight from our XC league right click and save to desk top. Open the program and load the flight. It's class! Don't forget to turn the thermalling off or you'll be sick.

Its good apart from the fact that unless you use an Alti GPS then your buggered. If the igc doesnt include altitude data then you cant see anything.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country
