NHPC BBQ 21st June

Post by AlastairW »

The longest day......

We can all celebrate as the Sun sets on the evening of the Longest Day, with the fun and camaraderie of the NHPC BBQ...

Lots of Wine, Women and Song.....

Well, Ron Don will organise the Beer, Dave Hume will be encouraged to play the Guitar, and Kay and Wendy will be there!

A chance to relax, let your hair down, and enjoy the company of your fellow NHPC pilots.

7pm until we run out of beer..........

All NHPC members and partners, friends, and people you met for the first time this morning on the number 68 bus are welcome.

Venue........ 43 Painshawfield Road, Stocksfield. NE43 7QY

As in previous years, BBQs to burn your own beef on, a quiz to tax your brain cell(S), lots of space for camping, and this year, at great expense, the reintroduction of candle lit croquet!!

You have been warned....

:D :D :D
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

I always look forward to this it's a cracking night. Can we not get Dave's group up for the night I'm sure it would make the evening. What about the pyrotechnics for the night? The fireworks last year were a bit tame............ I might bring some acetylene balloons along to ignite on the fire. Are your neighbours OK as these make REALLY loud bangs and have been know to blow the overalls of motor mechanics.

If you watch this clip below you will see these guys trying to make a big bang. The secret is a small amount of acetylene and a lot of oxygen the result is VERY LOUD

I like how one guy makes the bomb and gives it to someone else to throw on the fire. I wonder if Gordie would like some of these for the LCC night? Not what you would call Health and safety........But bloody good fun
