burkitt not only gets 1 xc but 2 must of taken off at briggsteer bombed out after 18k then takes off again and flyes another 78k pretty impressive i am sure there will be a few upsett people.

all that said and done a good good day for the nhpc in the bcc and a cracking days flying. looking at the rest off the week i guess there will be a few strugling to get stuck into work as the forcast looks good all week.
i just hope i get my glider harnes in time?

Yes, thanks Gary and Colin, had to wait a while, watch a few locals laugh and wave, but the biggest insult was the guy that turned up, took the 2 from Cumbria that were with us, then when I asked him if he'd come back, he just replied, oh someone will be along later. That's after we'd walked for an hour and Andrew couldn't walk any further because of the blisters on his feet.

Look on the bright side Brian.

You could've been on Longknowe with the rest of us sheltering under hang gliders waiting for the showers to pass. Then after 4 hours of hiding, watch the wind sock steadily drift to a SW with clearing skies.

Stu stevens flew down and casually remarked on conditions, " I was fighting for my life"

Ah well!
