Just clicked on Google Earth this morning to find there's a down load and it's now as google maps - High definition with a better navigation tool. Most impressive. No doubt everyone has seen this and I'm behind the times. :shock:

And just in case you and others might have missed this doozy from the XC League and Google earth hookup

Click Google earth (top right)

From the drop down box select

"Use Man's Module"

A whole host of info to satisfy the most anal customer! Notice the track changes colour from blue to red which represents lift (red) sink (blue)

A rather salubrious, exclusive hostelry with grand views of the North Peninnes.
I kind of guessed this might be the place you were looking at John, but the clue in the bottom left of the picture helped me find it.
