The Phil Trotter Trophy Plus

Post by John Wallis »

I'm busy putting something together so all pilots can see the trophies that they will be competing for over the summer/autumn period.

I would like to suggest that the Weekender (HG) Phil Trotter Trophy (HG) and Mike Smith Trophy (HG) are open to the whole club instead of just the hang gliding section.

As the club is now made up of almost all PG pilots it would make sense for the majority of the members to compete for these trophies along with the others.

Do we need seperate trophies anymore?

Does this make sense to people and is anyone against the changes? It would be nice to keep the names alive for years to come and I think that is reason enough.

Cheers

HG is not dead John ! PG have there trophies. There would be no problem if only the members who win them would return them the following year.
