sounded like a great day and who would of thought it at Thursdays forecast and such a long time since there has been a weekend of flying and I missed.

still sure there will be others as its still early in the season yet there seems to be some good flying starting

East hill Sun 5th

Interesting day on East hill, you could soon tell pilot were desperate to fly after the long winter lay off.. bloody hell its was fun to watch but not good ! t
The lift was coming through in 5-10 mins patches and when it did all hell was broke loose, lots of pilot flying in all directions to get the best lift, wing tip touching ! very little soaring pattern & pilots taking off into an already very crowded sky, I was surprised to see no accidents especially with quite a few rusty pilots.

Totally un-crowded at horden with only 4 gliders in the air and km's of ridge to fly.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country
