well what A weekend that said it would not be a flyable weekend in the slightest, after torrential rain Thursday night we were blessed with wall to wall sunshine there after. Saturday was a good walk up black Coombe to see light winds and then too strong. walk back down and silecroft for a nice racing task with a possible of 50-70 pilots.
Sunday was even better as great sunshine and what was forecast to windy most places but the Grasmere valley so long slog up it was. great turn point task and pleased to win the task as only 3 made as was tricky and you needed a bit of luck.
so came home in 2nd place overall so very pleased indeed and all who went had a fantastic time with great crack and camaraderie.
cheers to all

registered months ago its a very popular comp .Have you registered Bill.
I would just like to echo what Gary has said what a fantastic weekend it turned out to be especially after such an iffy forecast I didn't do as well as Gary but still finished in a respectable place (well for me that is)
i would like to give a massive thanks to all those who put in so much time and hard work to make it all possible
roll on next year
don't forget the grassmere accuracy comp in august
