Miller's leap tomorrow after work

Post by John Wallis »

Finish at 4.30 tomorrow and the duvet will be in the car. I'm sure I can tempt at least Mr Wolf out tomorrow night to Miller's Leap. Anyone else fancy it??

Well we all ended up at Cross Fell. Rutherford and son, Mad Dog, Jan Little, Gary and me. The wind went from howling to nowt in about 45 mins and I don't think it was a kick in the arse of going katabatic.

We all carried up from the bottom some more than others but nothing more than a few scratching flights. Never the less what a place to be on such a glorious summer's night.

The hunger pangs were strong on the way home so Rutherford Son and I had to visit the Sathi Indian restaurant in Hexham to sort out the said pangs. Now bloated and knackered (rulz)

Hartley reef,,,a much better option! 1/2 mile out to sea, no wind, 12ft glassy faces and just 4 out! Paddled in at 8.30 and headed to the Indians at Cramlington! I guess there's going to be a lot of excess hot air at the club meeting tonight! (chuckle) So what's new about that? Only one answer really (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz)
See you out there!!!!!

Surf crazed and dazed
