tommorows flying lowca

Post by gary stenhouse »

looking at the weather for tommorow looks to be very windy for the dales area so i was thinking of getting away early and going flying at lowca, i know its not ideal but it does get you in the air. i am supposed to be at a neabours bbq so i did want to get back early so not sure what to do?

its not critical that i get back, though the alternative is to drive over tonight and stop in the camper van for the evening and go flying befor breakfast.

now sunday is looking a better day but looks to be more northerly.

lets stay in touch to see what happens

forecast for hawes is 18mph west so i would say no chance in the dales

the lakes west north west perfect for lowca so i think i may go for my first choice and save the proper flying for sunday

sunday is looking good for model or any other north to northwest site that wont have air shows in the way.

can we say the comp will be caned for tommorow and just go to lowca?

as i dont want to be seen i am getting out of my responsabuilitys.

7.30-8.00am start and hope to get back home for five so pm me tonight if you are in or out

Comp is not canned until 10am tomorrow Gary.....

Sorry.... but as a team member, your first responsibility is to team NHPC red.... not your own personal gratification....

Now.... What was that call I got from Fingers last Sunday about going to Cross Fell???

:D :D :D

It will drop later just run the animation on xc weather and you can see it happening. How ever it will be around 12p.m. before its flyable at the coast and probabley 4p.m. before inland. Having said that it should be a good evening and tomorrow is looking even better (the further north you go me thinks, south Lakes will be dodgy, to near the edge of the Low)
