The Ginger Goerdie warrior returns!

Post by gordie »

After three months absence my phone finally rang today with our ginger friend firing on all cylinders on the other end. After half an hours conversation he finally lost signal and I managed to get out the house and off to Bewaldeth to check conditions out. Managed to fly for a bit but it was beyond safe limits and after being blown back the phone rang again with a confused Gary by my van at the bottom wondering which cloud I was in. It was still mid afternoon so I suggested Lowca and off we set.

On arrival we were met by a nice s.w. 15 mph breeze, perfect for the the lad to relax back into it. After an hour of play the phone rang again to say they were flying at Bewaldeth. On arrival it was just getting to 'Happy hour' after the madness of the unstable day. We both took off to join the other happy addicts to spend the next hour bouncing around above Binsey watching the sun set.

Great to spend some time with the "Goerdy Nutter" again and even nicer to do it with him in the air so I could get the odd word in edge ways! Welcome back Gary (handshake)

Pic's on the board...enjoy (rulz)

it sure was good to be back , thanks to a nice sore at lowca was just the tonic i needed. then after a nice confidence boost it was time to face my deamons again at the hills. though this time it was a pleasent experience.

it was good to see gordy showing how a wing can be flown with confidence and knowing where its limitations are.

great flying cheers gordy
