BCC Cross Fell Distances (Raw Data)

Post by John Wallis »

With thanks to Ed Cleasby. Pilot rating, glider, etc still to be calculated so this is not the final score but it's looking good for our boys (sun)

Having spent much time with a calculator and slide rule, the "raw" scores are:

NHPC 2280
CSC 1654
NYSC 875
DALES A 1190

Even after taking into account the handicapping system, I am pretty certain that we won last weekends event, and may just possibly be top of the league!
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

Maybe they didn't make the min distance to score??? I wouldn't care I got just past the 6k mark myself (ninja) or maybe they didn't send their scores to Alastair....Who knows. The boys still done well though.

Well with me being the shy type I thought I'd wait until I got a bit further before I used the bold and colour

You really will have to take note of Gary's methods and do it in Ginger!
Way loud, very often and in bright bold colours. Every small step is worth mention and congratulations! And if Skywings won't publish it try the local free press, and if all else fails....we'll read it on here! (y) (handshake) (beer)

Cross Fell Results (Proper)

Post by John Wallis »

Well done boys you did the club proud and as Alastair said this takes the NHPC to Pole position in the BCC table. Ed has told me that he can't enter the scores into the table at the moment as it's got a technical glich.

The link above is a Google spreadsheet it should be visible but again I'm not sure if you need a Google account to view it. Maybe someone can post if they can read it OK that doesn't have a Google account.

Cheers
