I'm bored so I've started this thing again in the back bedroom which is a far better view over the fields. How long it will stay active after Katie comes back from her hol's is another matter. It's pointing north west so you can work out at this moment (15.00hrs) the wind is south west and a little fresh.
I've also contacted the guy who runs the Brampton Weather site and asked him to point his live cam at the Tindale and Cumrew fells so we can use the info. He's got it pointed at his garden at the moment and no good to us there.
Well shy bairns get no sweets as they say.

Paul Crabtree the guy who runs the Brampton weather station was kind enough to reply to my bold request. He has made an offer though.

Yes that is a cheeky request !
I would love to point the camera at the fells, but I would either have to move house or postion the camera ontop of the chimney stack, even then I would struggle to cover Tindale etc. My weather station is at the top of the garden with excellant views to the lakeland fells and Pennines this would be an even better location for a webcam, but sadly its 100 yards plus from the house. The weather station runs via a wireless connection.
Unless your club is willing pay for a new camera and all the wiring !
all the best
