Ladies coaching Day

Post by Steve.T. »

Cumbria soaring club are thinking of running a coaching day for the girls ,the letter below explains things,

As you may be aware, the Cumbria Soaring Club has been running a number of 'Low Experience / Low Airtime' Coaching Days and these have become more and more successful. The sessions are targeted at pilots with no more than about 10 hours experience.

What we would like to do is to run a women only session lead by an experienced woman pilot. The aim of the session would be to provide coaching and guidance to help improve flying.

We have not yet fixed a date for this as we first need to get an idea of how many woman pilots would be interested.

We will, of course, try to fill all the places with CSC 'woman' members. If, however, we do not attract sufficient numbers from CSC members then we will throw the session open to women pilots from other northern clubs.

Does the idea of this session appeal to your woman pilots? I would be grateful if you would pass this message around and then let me have an idea of the level of take up from your woman members.

Regards,

Simon Raven
