Tomorrow night after work

Post by John Wallis »

Depending on how the wind direction holds I might give Crossfell a go after work tomorrow night. I think the Maltby might be on too. If anyone is out there tomorrow would you mind letting me know so I can ring for an update.

Cheers

Not Cross Fell John but Paul is in the Lakes at the moment taking a look at Bewaldeth if you manage an extra early finish!

Don't believe what the weather man says. Rocked up at Bewaldeth at 5.30p.m. with Swanny, to be rewarded by an hours soaring in, an at first light breeze. No rain but quit when it started to pick up and swing off to the south, classic pre frontal flying.

Don't know what happened to the rain, think the 'relief effect' of the Lakes is kicking in. Nice while you can get it, especially aboard an Omega 7................"want one, that one!" :lek:

Allways look at the rainfall radar before you go flying it's not just about the wind.
