Thursday and Friday look like Model Ridge and the coast. Hope to see some folks there.

Sites

Please provide a grid ref and info for any potentially flying sites which do not appear in the B&W sites guide for us novices.

Cheers :(

Hi Ron,

what's East Hill status? It's supposed to be shut for lambing till May1 but hey Saturday is ALMOST May1 and we're so short of easterly sites!

Where is Model Ridge? Cannot find it in the club site guide file!

Thanks

Model ridge? A pseudonym I think, if you've got the right hand shake then you know. I don't shake hands so don't ask me.

They may be obvious to those who know but why are they not in the guide? If you know them (club veterans) then you don't need a guide. I'm with you on this Graham. I expect to be smooching about for good Easterlies myself tomorrow but may need to pop over to Keswick for a reserve.

WILL TAKE NOTE OF YOUR NO. AND LET YOU KNOW IF I'M ON THE COAST.

Good flying and be safe!

Cheers Misk. Well some say "Ignorance is bliss" not me though. Why don't we store our sites on the web?

What you up to the weekend?

Don't open that can of worms ! :D

If my knees haven't siezed up I'm planning heading back to England for the Coast or Model - most likely Saltburn. Then onwards to the Peaks for the BCC - looks kinda windy down thre so the HG is goign too. For the NE the coast looks on all w/e there may be a chance of haar but it's only a slim chance. Scotland way it looks like Glencoe BUT there is doubt whether the chailift is running.

If you fly model they expect you to become a member of the NYSC so be prepared to be asked! Good luck whereever you try - I'd recommend the coast.
