Have a look at the weather link for 72 hours ahead and see if you can make out what the fish bone is to the west of the UK. It looks like a trough that's had a kick up the arse. Never seen this before, we might need to baton down the hatches :-(

Yes John this clearly is a old Xmas tree that is being blown down from the North Pole in the high winds.

Batton down the hatches indeed.
