Post by gary stenhouse »

this could be a great opportunity to show free flight that all been well would be ronny freeman doing this or a joint venture. they are needing firm commitment for people to go along with hanglider as well as a paraglider and maybe some videos etc

HI Gary

We are holding a School and Family STEM event (Wind in your Sail). The event starts on 07 July and runs for four days we are looking for help from community partners for the two days Saturday and Sunday the 09 and 10 July which is the family days. We will be hosting the event in a marquee 30 m X 100 m, we hope that you would be able to deliver a small drop in event throughout the two days giving information, may be on paragliding / hand gliding now and in the past. You would be able to put up display boards and if possible bring demonstration materials for visitors to handle and try, or an experiment for them to participate in. There is of course no cost to you if you attend this event, refreshments will also be provided for your staff. Setup will be on from 08.30 until 09.45 on both days, vehicles will be allowed on the site to set up but must be off site by 10.00, car parking will be provided. We are expecting 3000-4000 visitors per day. If you require further information please either call me on the number below or email me at derekberryman I’d be more than happy to come and visit you to discuss this further, or you’d be welcome to come and see us at the museum.
Thank

Derek

Hi Colin, I dont think you need to rush out and buy one just yet. I have a friend who is going to make me one. I would like to have something to hang my tandem harnesses and get people in them....

No need

Post by ron freeman »

I have quite few hanggliding L/E tubes and making a couple of tripods will be no problem. They will collapse down to aprox 7ft long (telescopic) and will do just the job
Maximise your time & dosh do both Hanggliding & Paragliding :)
