First of all for those who don't know this years LCC does not incorporate the Buttermere Bash the term 'LCC' refers to the flying comp. The Buttermere Bash is still being held, I will post about that later but they have announced the opening of registration for the comp https://www.facebook.com/CumbriaSoaring ... 5561227338 it transpires it initially opens to LCC members only for 2 whole weeks before they open it to other clubs.

Being a bit synical I can't help but think it's an attempt to increase membership.
