A week of Flying?

Post by berow »

Getting ready to head off with Eddie, Helen and Gordon for a flying trip in the UK. As always its looking very challenging and will test our resolve. We are starting with a trip to Lowca/St Bees and then onto who knows where. We will go where the weather is best so if you know of anywhere please post on here.We have planned to camp in the peaks but who knows.Wish us luck....

I know I was watching you lot most of the day teaching on Brandon.

Brian & Eddie I would follow the centre of the pressure system starting with the north west coast at North wales, Colwyn bay area (beautiful coastal sites) then head east, Good luck

Ended up at haig pit. Offered a cup of tea by the farmers wife on the top, a lovely chatty lady. I took off but landed on full speed bar going backwards. I landed on my bum on full bar ! flew for about 40 mins. The rest of them gave it a miss😳
