Strange cloud Sunday 29th Mar

This cloud started out as a wave bar over West hill then become very strange.. the humidity was only 52% temp only 7c with a north west 20-25mph steady wind.

First cloud is a cracking shot of wave over west hill but got no idea what's happening after that it almost looks like a Cu Nimb growing from the ground up very strange. Great shots tho.

There's been a few of those cunimby things hanging around over the last couple of days. Yesterday at Blyth the wind was going from a light easterly to 40mph NW in seconds, real gust front stuff. I was testing out my Oudie and the vario was going crackers just before the wind came too.

Time to take off?
