Start to the season

As a bit of fun and as a means of getting us to 'think' about our flying can I suggest that the next time we going flying people switch their varios off. As a development task this is great as it helps us develop a 'feel' for what's going on and previously stated makes us think about where maximum lift may be.

My vario ran out of juice just as I started a flight in November last year. It wasn't long before I was feeling the tug up of lift - left or right - and enjoyed the experience.

Will defo try it again this year - it heightens the senses.

I very rarely fly with mine switched on..........my twitching bum cheeks always tell me where lift is
