flights booked for me and john miller, however ther is 10 people going out at the moment so we need to know what acomadation has been booked?

I believe chris has booked to challets?

so for to make it comfy would be to have my own room so if we had 3 that would work out nice and comfy or cn you get the bed and breakfast onsite with your own room?

i have booked a nissan note 5 door from doyouspain.com and i have used these many times and very cheap.
i have paid 212 euros for the 9 days however i do not think that you will fit more than 3 per car

That seems fair to me.
If we are all on the same flight I think 3 kango type cars would be ok between all of us.
Are we all on the same flight?

when you look at the cost of kango type cars you start going up into the 300 mark yet get for nissan note or similar for 72 per person meaning 3 in 2 cars and 2 in two cars so lots of room for luggage etc and yes everyone on the same flight.

so this is the score so far I have booked one car that will take 3 with luggage however to get a realy big car that takes four will probably be more the getting 4 cars.

john will be in with me and as long as he can get insured as a lot of them have age restrictions.

chris and jan may hire one for themselves.

but well worth checking out www.doyouspain.com for good prices

cheers gary

Booked the same as Gary after searching all the options this is definitely the most cost effective, so we can probably fit in another person if they don't have to much gear. Our paragliding kit and luggage is quite big !

This should be really really good and maybe we can do some gaggle flying together to get some good results Lets sort out team tactics and if the weather ever improves plan a few XC's in preparation

hi edd are you talking from the UK to chabre or from nice airport to chabre?
so far i think we are now all flying down and hiring cars, this still has not been discussed but so far i have booked one for me john and so has chris and jan however ther is 6 more going and it is trying to get cars cheep enough that take 3 as it seems cheeper to get smaller cars.
so i gues untill all is sorted we will not know who has got space as chris is back thursday who organised the other party as me chris and jan were all after thoughts and booking are own things to save complications

Flying ..... car from Nice to Laragne and back. I don't mind booking a car, but to keep costs down it needs to be a share job. Same with accom ..... I got a tihome last year and they were good and on site, plus ... if you don't book accom quick it soon goes. As we found out with the GWO to our cost. I'm offering one or two places now, but will advertise later for a middle aged, good looking brunette who can cook. Now who'd want to be forced to do that?

Chabre

Post by Graeme Gilroy »

After some advice, I'm thinking of going to chabre to join in the fun, gonna get the train as (A) I get it for next to nothing ,and (B) be good to see the tunnel and some of France on the way down.
Prob gonna head down on 26th so there for day one and the atmosphere, what I need to know is
Are those that are going camping or glamping ?
Is it easy to get booked on site ?
Not sure what transport I will need once there ?
Any info would be great ?

Anyone else up for joining me I can take 4 to London for free and I think train fare is somewhere around £150 return to chabre that includes the Eurostar through tunnel. I would have to confirm if those fares are still available which I will do today

Cheers
