Chris, sent you an email this afternoon. Re task 1 - the goal was Pooley Bridge (I think T41 off the top of my head). It was my fault I sent him duff info'. Need to check my notes but the Helvelyn tp may have been 1k cylinder.
The odd correction or explanation re the task wp list. TP0 is the SSS (start and start of speed section). TP3 is 2K (ESS - end of speed section - timed). TP4 is goal, 1k and MUST be made for speed/time to count. The list shows them the other way round.
TP Latitude Longtitude radius
TP 0 54.602375 -3.078089
1000
TP 1 54.530316 -3.026065
400
TP 2 54.611744 -3.055252
400
TP 3 54.643141 -2.828342
1000
TP 4 54.643141 -2.828342
2000
It's always very instructional to see peoples tracklog against the task. Such as:
* began seconds BEFORE race start time.
* cylinders missed by a few metres.
* cylinders ignored!
* guesswork! Obviously no route in gps - going on visuals.
One female pilot of great skill raced to Helvelyn - got high - raced back but decided cylinders were optional! I can only put it down to task pressure Jan (damn, damn, damn ............... it slipped out)

I put it down to not understanding my new gps thingy, & not activate the task, so eye balled it all!
Oh and I had never flown my new wing... Delta 2.... Straight out the bag!! So was quite pleased with myself having never been to Helvellyn and back too.. Also winds had picked up when I got back to the knots so headed to football field but missed it by couple of fields going backwards.
Cracking day for me
