what a cracking weekend and thanks to bill for all his hard work in the kitchen, what a chef and we even had great flying all 3 days with clough head followed by a majestic flight at swinside and laking back at the bash and getting both feet in the paddling pool to win a free beer. then today we had some fantastic flying at barton fell. the scenery this weekend was just breathtaken and for use who missed the bash you certainly missed out on some great crack and great fun.
cheers gary

Feel the fear and do it anyway!
Wow... Just coming down from being on Buttermere time. So glad you all had a ball, flew hard and partied your bits off. Our little piece of heaven just gets better and better.
Funny watching the vids coming in and watching all my mad plans come together. Was an interesting place, on launch for the Acro. After some 7 years now of doing the UK's only Acro show I've learnt that one of the key thing is continuity like a good fire works display. So as we struggled on the speed fly take off watching the Acro pilots going up whilst performing some maneuvers, I gently coaxed the guys off with encouraging comments like 'man up' and 'your public awaits'. At that point a bloke bare foot in a wet suit took took off closely followed by Iron Man who finally stopped complaining about not being able to see anything through his mask.
See you all next year for more yet antics..
