Noam's first XC

Post by Lloyd »

It turned out to be good on Humbleton Hill for the second day in a row.
Noam flies nearly 2km up wind (without making a single 360) to the campsite to meeting up with his family.

I flew to Akeld then back to Humbleton, back Akeld and went down by the road half way between Akeld and Humbleton. Not a bad day considering blue thermals and inversion. :D

Hi Lloyd, it was great to see you both flying very high on Humbleton, we were sitting on Doddington law watching all the fun !

Noam achieve a great glide into a head wind to make his goal, nice one.

Cheviots comes up trumps over the weekend

Thanks, it was really good taking the risk away from the hill to land were Di & the kids were. I must admit I didn't think I'd make it, but thanks to a nice thermal & speed bar I did. :D
