With the cr#p weather thoughts are turning to the summer hols, any one got any suggestions for September in Europe.Done Annecy, Larange and Chamonix so fancy somewhere else for some easy relaxed flying, and flat valley floors for some cycling, and cheap everything

Oludeniz you will love it been Twice once flying and once chilling / scuba / walking etc etc In fact for total relaxation after your Turkish bath do an SIV course :)

thanks for the quick reply, forgot to mention I will be towing a caravan so Turkey might be a bit far and been to the festival at St Hilaire a couple of times, are the Cheviots good in September?

Forget the caravan and get on a plane the accommodation is dead cheap out there.

Don't be shy folks, I spent 30 years of others telling me where to go! After a bit of t'inter webbing has anyone got any info on Treh Markstein in the Vosges region and Puy de Dome

puy de dome was the first site i ever flew in france I went back the summer before last when they were busy digging up the road to the top and were putting a railway in instead .at the time the job wasnt finished and the only way to the top was by foot needles to say i gave it a mis :D

Walk! not my idea of a holliday, might give that some closer attention before deciding if Puy de Dome is for me

Hi Trevor

Some of us are talking about going to Laragne this summer. Not sure when at the moment as we need to sort out dates that suit everybody but one of the possibilities is early September. get in touch if you're interested. Especially if you're taking a caravan we can all kip in.....

Thanks Dave, been there before and had some good flying, will bear it in mind as I have nothing definite arranged yet. I'm sure my wife would 'appreciate' a caravan full of beer sodden farting pilots, a breed she is familiar with. Will keep in touch
