An email has been sent to all of the other clubs:-

The weekends comp is now Green!

It looks like a classic flying day, so the plan is to meet in the village of Kirkland at 10:30am, parking by the church.

Please do not drive into the village and upset the natives!

We will arrange a shuttle to carry people to the top.

Tony Bradley, our sites officer has been in contact with the local farmers to forewarn them. He is going to send me details of landing fields, and these will be included in the briefing.

NO LANDING NEAR CATTLE. It is a sensitive issue following on from some recent flying at the site. Please do not do anything to upset the farmers.

The plan is to camp overnight at the cross fell campsite

Look forward to seeing everyone Saturday!
