Pat Dower on Pilot Skills and SIV
The Eagle & Child Inn , Staveley, Kendal

Thursday 22nd April 7:30 for 8.00pm

Talk, video plus questions and answer to tell you (hopefully) all you ever wanted to know and quite possibly a bit more besides!
Previously unseen footage of well known pilots getting it right and getting it wrong!

A taste of what we will look at:
What is meant by “pilotage” and “SIV” - what is the difference?
What are the steps of progression in developing pilot skills?
What types of training are best?
Should you do an SIV course at all?
This is for you whether you have 10hrs or 1010hrs.
You may a have never even thought of doing SIV or ruled it out as not being for you.
You may be a veteran of many hours of trashing your glider over the water.
Come along, learn, contribute and be prepared to be surprised!

See you there!
