Kitt posted this on the CSC site:
In order to encourage people to fly and explore the Scottish highlands and therefore increase the understanding of the local meteorology There will be a a prize put up for the longest flight on a EN-B or equivalent to be flown on the Highlands.
First of all the prize : http://www.whisky-online.com/bruichladd ... tling.html or if it is not your liking another whisky of equivalent value.
+The flight should be a valid entry on the xcleague.
+ Flown on a EN-B or equivalent (this should be your regular wing).
+ Flight should be scoring a minimum of 40 points Open Distance.
+ Flight should start and end in the highlands (lookup Scottish highlands boundary fault) on mountainous terrain.
This is meant for freshly qualified P rated pilots of holding the rating for no more than two years ? although not restricted on age.
I will push this to clubs in england so there would be some healthy competitiveness in it (do distribute the email)
Cheers
Trias
Not sure who Trias is, but it sounds like a good idea to me.
Could we do a Cheviot Challenge perhaps for a bottle of brown dog?
