why not get a steep hill put on the harness and throw your reserve as the snow is so dry it should not get wet.

You could also get along to Ratho climbing arena on 16th/17th Jan for the LLSC's "Gathering" and throw your reserve inside whilst riding the zipwire!?!?!?!?
