Is anyone meeting up for a drink before the meal somewhere. If so where?
Any suggestions, somewhere big as it'll be busy (not the crown pasada).

We are up for a meet up before the meal Don't know the names of all the pubs down the quayside, can only think of the picher & piano. 7.30-8pm Any other sugestions??

The Akenside is on Dean street, same as the resturant, not as far to walk in the cold but i'm easy. See you at around 8pm where-ever we'll ring you.

When I go out for a pint, I go to this old original pub which was always used by the Dockers. It has a beautiful view of the river and the bridges, and the beer is a reasonable price.

It is the Free Trade Pub at the mouth of the Ouseburn at Glasshouse Bridge at the Eastern end of the Quayside at the top of the bank.

It is a good place to park and within walking distance of the restaurant.
