Post by gordie »

Yippee its stopped raining and started snowing :) Finally could get my fix today ski touring from Clough Head to Raise and back. Had a rucksac full of toys to keep me entertained as usual but to be honist as there was not much wind did a lot of walking. Anyway two knanckerd dogs and a very happy me.

Shacky video here as my helmetcam fell to bits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBWRH35Syfo

Fantastic! I'm glad I don't have to look after the dogs though, can't imagine what they are like if they don't get a walk!
See you out there!!!!!

Cheers fellas for all the nice comments.

Had good afternoon today, snow kiting from Great Dodd to Raise and back. There was a fair wind to carry me along with nice fast crusty snow, most of the time I could just sit back and watch the wintery fells sail by. Did have the Bocat with me but was having to much fun eating up the miles to get it out. Nice thing about today was bumping into to so many other folks out enjoying the winter treats. Hopefully I've inspired a few of you guys to get the planks out and come and join me on the Fells.

Here is the latest episode, enjpy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTkDMso7JtI

Aye that's a great video Gordie, if I could ski proper like yous I would go for a bobcat I reckon. As it was, Lance and me had to make do with standard paragliders on Monday :D

Another canny day on the fells yesturday. Had a shinney new Go Pro Hero HD headcam to play with, the image quality is brilliant very very impressive. Please see a link to a vid, I have only up loaded it at normal quality and not HD yet as I am still learning how to do all the settings. The video is more of an interactive piste map of the run's at the www.ldscsnowski.co.uk tow on Raise.
