Club Comp News....

Post by myerscouse »

Looking at the conditions for Sunday 9th August conditions look iffy compared to the excellent flying we had today.

Therefore, although we all maybe flying tomorrow The results from today are for the Club Paragliding Champion 2009.

Yet to be verified but we think that Numero Uno ...El Capitain & Game Keepers Rent Boy is our very own Johnny Watson

Well Done John. Can everyone please up load their flight logs by Sunday evening so we can get a definitive results sheet.

Excellent Flying One & All

Well done to everybody on their flights today! :)

Congratulation Mr. Watson. 8)

Tomorrow

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/HOBBIES/ ... ionID=1145

Could be a task in there me thinks providing it's correct of course. The synoptics show a trough over our neck of the woods and they are nasty little bastards.

A second day could change the result :)

Well done Watson.

Bit early to tell yet!

No wind down in the valley, the high cloud looks W.

Will post again about 0930 if people are interested.

Just had a look at towards Lakes and would guess the cloud in the central Lakes is touching the water! :???:

It doesn't always get across the valley though thankfully. I know the feeling!!! :o

Wind looks to have a bit more South in it now.
Who knows what it will be like up on High Cap.
Heading up that way now.
