Gary's got his Piper Warrior on order.........

Post by John Wallis »

This is his first flight and the instructor let him take it off first time. He genuinely has a natural touch.

been there myself and at the time had never flown in a plane of any sort so was quite un-nerving that i had the controls from start up to shut down apart from a breif moment when i bounced back off the tarmac in a cross wind and the pilot had to put it back down one wheel at a time.

Good on ya gary I just hope the cost dosnt stop you from quenching your thirst like it did me.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

Grip of Death

Post by GlennP »

I like Gary's death grip on the yoke...... and how the throttle just takes care of itself :???:

You don't need to hold it like your driving the happy bus Gary. And then there was the death stare.......straight ahead, eyes fixed on the horizon.

What you want is to fly a REAL aeroplane something with a stick, high wings and a tailwheel.

Boys fly Pipers .........Men fly Cessnas. Ain't that right John
You are only as good as your last flight........

WOW I look like I can do an inverted barrel roll with 9.5 negative G whist eating my sandwiches an drinking my tea. I wonder what he'll let me do?

Where is this "fancy a shot o me little plane" school.?
