Insurance advice

I am looking to take the wing to Cyprus in July and wondered if anyone could recommend a good insurance policy to cover me for say 7 consecutive days. Does anyone rate Sportguard for example - gold policy is around £120!!! is this the going rate?

I've gone with these £16.27 for 10 days in Turkey in April including cover for Paragliding I'm sure they are fine sorting things once you have reached hospital but you have to accept that the facilities for mountain rescue will not be what you get in the UK...i.e. Crash on the mountain and you may well die waiting for help !!!

Try Sunsoaring Paragliding insurance - link off the Northern Paragliding website. We've got an annual policy with them and they got me home ok from France in March following a ski accident. Still sorting out the claim for medical expenses but no complaints so far!

They include paragliding as standard and you can add extra cover for competitions etc

But if the s**t does hit the fan I think one company would be the same as any other as they just hand you over to another company whos job it is to sort out the mess and get you back home.
one thing all insurance companys have in common they all love to take your money but hate to give it back
