Naomi, tell Ian that its not bad at all having a dog!
She is a little bugger mind you, toilet training is taking its time and she loves to bite me to bits, but we do love her and its great to go out walking with her and introducing her to the birds and lambs and stuff. But its hard trying to get her to not mind being on her own, that little whine she does is heart wrenching.
Cant wait to take her to puppy training
And yes Kay, we never get a chance to sit nice and relaxed on the sofa watching the telly........but she's worth it

The first sign of it eating your home, thrash it with a stick.jill mcgeachie wrote:that little whine she does is heart wrenching.
When if messes on the floor, thrash it with a stick, after you have rubbed its nose in it, before you throw it from the back door into the garden.
When it bites, thrash it with a stick.
When it wants to be on your bed, thrash it with a stick.
A little old fashioned, but contrary to popular belief the dog has not yet evolved to understand English and can not enter into a debate about how it should be behaving.
Cruel to be kind.
Oh and the most important thing, you eat "before" it does.
The "stick" is metaphorically anything you like but it involves letting the dog be under no illusions the you are boss.
Oh, Finaly.
Thrash it with a stick.

Compromise get her a cat they just do their own thing and if you don't feed them they just eat the vermin. Plus you don't have to walk them. In fact get her a Siamese we had one years ago and it was brilliant fun. Also good watch (dogs) Cats they chase intruders off.

Hi Jan
She isa Tibetan Terrier ans she will grow spaniel height when she grows up. We are going to bring her flying until she gets used to being on her own in the garden.
Ian, its lovely having a dog again, Stuart adores her. I have been miserable for ages with work an stuff and she really makes me smile. You would be a good doggie parent, they dont answer back

Isnt she brave Ringo seemed to like her.
Sorry to Wendy as she was sitting on your hangie, I dont think she could've chewed through the wires. Andrew hope you're lines are ok
All in all she had a fab time, and is now flat out on the sofa. Here's hoping it will be not as windy next time.
