Only a matter of time!

Post by MadDog »

I know that you all know which way up a paraglider goes, and hang-gliders do it pointy end first…
But my problems are not so mundane, and I wonder if anyone can help me to put together the bits that appear in the photo below…..
It is the front offside olio leg of a series two Time Machine…serial number xxzx 24680, first built in 1919, the workshop manual got left behind on the planet Morelock on an earlier foray, but this damage was done by a stray bomb falling from the bomb-bay of a Lancaster Bomber as I was descending through time warp area three …just before the left turn for Dresden over the Weimar Republic and passing through the 1943 synchronous gatecrash/Re-router, gathering speed for re-entry into outer orbit Nine.
My problem is…..Does the 36 toothed spur gear mesh with the 9 toothed spur gear before or after the exhaust re-circulating valve?
Also, will the 4:1 ratio be sufficient for journeys into the future, up and beyond the year 2298, given that the ten pound note is all that I’ve got?

I would go for after the EGR John otherwise it will effect the Nox gases produced by the flux capacitor and it will overheat the secondary booster and she won't be able to take it captain.

The 4:1 ratio is too low and will stop you from going intergalactic it won't let enough thrust develop, you need to go for a 3:7 which will help you reach the outer stations of the soaraboriolis...... :dealer:

That is one wild looking machine you have there,it isn`t for sale by any chance ,the last time I flew one off them was in fact the last visit I made to the planet Morelock, just before the local atomic atomizing time bending machine blew up causing total incinaration off the planet, such a waste,I can only assume the lost workshop manual got burnt.
Personally, and I am sure you know this, and let`s be under no illushion`s about it,it`s just so important, the meshing off the gears that is,could I make a suggestion, well I think it`s before the exhaust re-circulating valve, but if it blow`s don`t blame me,also I would ask the man that ate the boiled ham raw, Gary Stenhouse to test fly it first, just in case it goes wrong.

That's where my tenner went! What have you done with the moths?

Don't forget to incorporate a loose leech and have you ever considered using a quad set up, they produce more speed over the flat sections, I'm getting a sweet little six o shaped up for me for the summer! :)
See you out there!!!!!

I appear to have dropped a piece of paper on to your 'time machine'.

Can I please have it back?

Many Thanks,

Lord Morelock III
You are only as good as your last flight........
