Nice afternoons soaring at Catherine Cookson's monument, early birds had over three hours soaring in the morning!(but didn't get to the coast, obviously don't know how to fly the site!)

Good flight Andrew.

I was thinking that Teeside was the place for flying today. XCWeather had a SW at 8mph Saturday turning to a W at 9mph today. Checked Billingham station and Teeside airport and both looked good but everyone seemed to be heading off to the Cheviots while Albermale was showing 20mph at 10m on the live weather so I didn't bother.

Went for fish and chips at Colemans in South Shields instead. Apparently eating fish n chips will help increase the wing loading on my Bolero and get me through turbulence. Not bad for £7.95.

I'm out tomorrow if anyone is off.

Glenn
You are only as good as your last flight........
