Info needed

Can anyone give pass on some information on flying the N.W. face of the Moorfoot hills it about time I flew them.. I was born in Gorbridge 6km nw of this site and I would love some aerial photos flying there plus it looks a great site.

Hi Ron, I'd like to fly there too - done it once and absolutely loved it! Let me know when you're going there ;o)

Suppose Iain Miskin can tell more more about this site, which was also known as Innerleithen Road.

Basically, it's a long NNW facing ridge, good for the days when it's blown out elsewhere, but (apparently) still providing good lift on lighter wind days due to it's nearly perfect profile.

Ron. I have been two times and had two short flights lovely place, next time I am going up there I will give you a shout. I was up there on the day that photo was taken Serge was flying with next to nothing on.
