Flying in the snow but landing in katabatic winds
Another entertaining one.

'Kin hell' that was a bit quick :o

Chris and Jan poetry in motion, synchronise PLF team

Seriously though great video showing the effect of Katabatic winds at this time of year. Not only do they make landings tricky but you also come in very fast due to the sinky air. Fun on a speed wing when you've got skis on your feet

Sorry to read your not well my dear, however, it is only when this "mild mannered ladies flu" has been driven to distraction arguing with your lady antibodies and getting no where that it will then flee your body. In a fit of rage, frustration and confusion it looks for the nearest male to talk it all out on. It is at this point that it manifests its self into "man flu" and as any male will tell you, has the power to floor a Rhino. And thankfully the male wrestles this tasmanian devil of a virus to the floor, deals with it and puts it to rest. Otherwise it could go on to wipe out the women and children of a small town.

Kay......We're pleased the grace, style and finesse of our perfectly planned and executed landing has brought light to your dark day :)
Chris says if you really had man-flu you would probably be dead already because women couldn't handle such a devastating affliction :???:
but I've put him right on that score :x
Get well soon, take the echinacea and we'll see you for the club party on Friday
Remember man-flu only lasts a short time and its all in your head so fill it with alcohol to aid recovery:lol: It works for Chris

You meen you have been at high risk for all this time John? We in the Marshalls house have been on the bell system for quite a number of years now.

PS

Thanks for that public safety announcement video Kay, awareness of this terrible disease is the only way we might stamp it out.

I didnt realise John Miller had taught you how to land a paraglider Chris :) and Jan seems to enjoy getting dragged at 20MPH through the snow --- I find this very disturbing Jan  excellent stuff.

Great vid. It definately put a smile on my face - especially the laugher after the "landing".
