Flying Ingleborough on Saturday

Post by Chris L »

Have a look at these videos of flying the tandem from Ingleborough on Saturday
Great winter walking in the snow. Fantastic scenery and lovely fly down except for the stone walls

Just love the running commentary "Oh shit...." from Jan in the 2nd video :D

Know the feeling well but prefer to stay quiet myself

First video appears to be set up as private - couldn't access it :(

Its one thing being in control of the glider heading for the wall but its quite another being a passenger.

Great video by the way
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

June says:

"Just put me off any chance of flying tandem" :(

"Very romantic"

"It's the wrong sort of togetherness for me" :???:

"But nevertheless I was well impressed" :)

Chris - you owe me a drink on 12th - there's no chance I'll ever get her on a tandem now :D :D

Yes believe me its very scary being a tandem passenger/victim when you are used to flying a paraglider yourself. Although it was preferable to walking down in the dark with ice covering most of the stoned path.
Great fun really, honest :!: :lek:
