Thinking of heading to Cross Fell tomorrow. Anyone else considering going? I've not flown it before...
Cheers :)

The general feeling of the club at the moment is to leave Cross Fell alone as the track is in very poor condition with all the water snow it's had and to prevent ripping it up even more. That is unless you want to leave your car parked in kirkland and walk up the track which is a long way. There's a few of us going to try Tail Bridge near Kirkby Stephen if that's any help.

Hi Simon!

I will be heading to Tailbridge in the morning as John suggests....

By all means give me a ring in the morning 01661842166

I have not been to Cross Fell recently, but as John says it appears the track is breaking up badly, and would be better not driven on until it dries out a little.

It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

Many thanks for the advice. It all looks a bit grey on the webcams this morning so I'm probably going to stick locally and fly in the Peaks instead. Hope to see you out on a hill some other time. All the best,
Simon
