A memorable day

Post by John Watson »

It looked like the typical Northumberland run-around, --- West Hill, (Brian flew and wasn’t pleased with the condition’s) and then Moneylaws which looked OK but we could only fly after 2pm (Mrs Annet was on her horse) we arrived at Moneylaws with a light NNW wind which Veered NE at 2pm ---just when we were allowed to fly!!
Brian winged about going to Hownam but my convincing jabber coaxed him, we arrived with a light WNW and the Sutherland ridge was just flyable, I was convinced it was going to veer NNW just as Metcheck said, it did and we were rewarded with some spectacular flying, the NNW ridge is really awesome and we put it to good use.
Brian was given the privilege of being the first ever to fly it, and we tested the air, finding that there was no problem with turbulence coming off Grubbit law and the adjacent hills. We top landed a few times (again no problem) and took off over the wall which stretches along the crest of the ridge, clearing it with ease.
All in all we had a smashing day and it just goes to prove that determination pays off, we tested a new site and came home happy men, we even went apple raiding later.
Just waiting for another thumbs up now.
(y) Come on Brian.

Good desicion not to go out today, got a text from Chris to say to was howling like a scene from a film about a windy place that was particulary windy.

And do please show a little dignity with regards these thumbs up's.

John, I tried this morning, but that damn fingery bloke won't let me! :x He has got the system set so that I need to make comment on someone else's reputation before I can comment on yours, because you were the last one I'd commented on. If he don't let me do it soon I'll just have to give him the thumbs down! (mooning)
So John, for you and your winging, (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) (y)
I'll make it official as soon as I can!
See you out there!!!!!

I wouldn't mind, but he can't even spell the instructions properly, he must have spent to much time in school with the ginger one!
You mush change reputation of different member to be able to change reputation of the same member twice.
