Supair Altirando or reversible harness

Post by GlennP »

I want to get some more lightweight gear and am looking at a Supair Altirando or Hybrid reversible harness.

Anyone in the club got one I can sit in and check out if they fit me?

Karma points in it for you.

Hi glen, I had the Woody Valley voyager+. I researched the different options at the time and came up with that one as the best. It workedl for me and is very well made.

I ve had a look on 't'internet and it does look like a nice harness.

I've seen a fairly decent looking AltiRando which is a bit more of a sit up position and a fairly old design but a decent price.

My Skyline Pure is getting a bit old and needs a few minor repairs. I'm trying to ease the loads on my back as I'm carrying upto 25kgs of stuff for work most days.

I'd love a 10kg PG kit and a small rucksack for flying.

Have you been out flying Andrew?

Be carefully with the alti rando make sure it's either a new model or has had the new buckles fitted. Brian Doub has experience with the old ones midair whilst thermalling LCC2010
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

Hi Col,

Cheers for that. Had seen the safety brief about the buckles on the Northern Paragliding site. I'll ask the person selling it if it's a problem harness.

Just want some lighter gear.

Are you up on your feet Col? Are you likely to be out flying with us this summer?
