LCC Comp

Post by colin keightley »

I think a big well done is in order for Jim Bittlestone who came second in the B Comp at the LCC and also Jan Little who was sitting in 2nd at the end of the first task and probably could have held it if it wasnt for a little confusion on task 2 which got quite a few pilots apparently.

WELL DONE. (clap) (clap) (clap)

Cheers guys, but for a small navigating error Jan would have been 2nd and Kay probably 3rd. So I was lucky.
Great flying by both lasses on day one with Jan making goal and Kay missing out by a field, whopping my effort. Both made goal on day 2. You were both robbed.
I messed up day one so thought i was out of the running.
Still, chuffed with flying Jenkin for the first time, booming thermals, great company.
A-comp for me next year, mixing it with the big boys.
A big thank you to Ed, dangerous Dave and all event organisers.

Urgently required for XC Mag/Skywings.

Photos: 10 of your best as high resolution jpgs. Please do not send repeat shots of the same thing; please do not send more than requested; please do not send photos of gliders in fields or gliders against a blue sky - we need action! Preferably in the air with the Lake District in the background.

These are needed by the 14th June latest. You will get the photo credit. I'm not sure of the best way to collect you can post then in our vid/photo section and let me decide or send direct to me. Brian ..... seen yours ... let me know if OK to use any please.
